Hot white chocolate in San Diego

This New York Times article* about hot chocolate and the many places in New York one can find many different types of hot chocolate – from “normal” liquid chocolate to “chocolate bisque” to concoctions that come with “ancho and chipotle peppers” or “lemon myrtle and lavender” – reminded me of a time not so long ago: I was an exchange student at a university in San Diego for a few months, and every Monday, there was a night class. I remember, it was on interpersonal communication or something like that. San Diego evenings aren’t that cold, even in the first half of the year, but the hot white chocolate in the paper cup was welcome warmth nonetheless.
