I was doing research for something extra-curricular at work,  and I came across two interesting articles that I thought I’d share here.

This one, by Thomas L Friedman (who wrote “The World is Flat”) alights upon “green” as how America can become again “the beacon of progress, hope and inspiration” in this world.

This other one, by Eric Janszen (who runs iTulip, an online economics and financial markets community), is an educational – and, to me, scary – read about how the US economy has come to be fueled by financial bubbles; it alights upon the “alternative energy industry” as a realistic candidate that will provide “a timely miracle, a new bubble to keep the economy from slipping into a depression”.

Green seems “in”.
